truth or.. false?

spotted this being posted around on facebook and in this months BMW Performance mag -

''as from January 2012 MOT testing will become strict, even bringing in a legal ride height law,
DVLA are looking to ban modified cars in 2014, meaning only OEM parts are allowed to be used, and they have to be specific to that model, and banning the importation of modified cars could be brought in ALOT sooner''
