Corsa SXi Progress Thread

ok, so heres my first car ;D Ultra Blue Corsa SXi :
ill keep it nice and simple


Day 1:
Irmy (Irmscher) splitter on her




Then the Irmy Twin Exhaust



The owner who had it previous to me had an SRi's badges put on it ???




The first thing i done was put a lil devil horns symbol on the back :



They didn't last long.... Removed



Went to the local multi and and took these with my phone -





Anyway, My first headunit was Sony one which i quickly broke the open button too! (See Top right of image)



Then i went out and got another headunit (not got the pics)
Broke that too!!!! > > > so got this one off Ebay -



followed by some rear Kenwood speakers from Halfrauds



Cant get upgardes without a sub so...... ;D
My First Sub - keeping in with the Kenwood theme here, a 10in 400w one with a gorgeous Metallic Blue on the side of the box




Also i had to change that horrible big tax disc!



Blue neon 12in tubes in the car next + the footwell




Dials were changed from Yellow to Blue LED's soon after

Then the time came to De-Badge the car Left side first (vauxhall removed)




Then i done the (Corsa) bit



Followed by Irmscher



First day out in the snow -



Then i decided i wanted a louder system so bought this 15in 1400w Sony sub lol ;D



Had to turn the other around to fit it in ;D ;D



Then i bought some rims off my mate 8-) 17in Gunmetal Grey, Kei Force 10's

Getting the Jack etc ready to start putting the new rims onto it

Looking much wider from behind now, loving it already ;D ;D



Then i sold the Kenwood 10in Sub, left with the Sony xplod in this shot and a new amp - TheLoudest.com (Competition series) It done the job



Removed my rear headrests next..



On went the Fast Car Smiley, the loud bass one ofcourse! :



Next sticker was the Corsa C|UK one - i wanted to stay with a subtle theme

Got some Solar Powered LED's next whihc you can see shining on the snow 8-) 8-)



Someone decided to come along and steal the FC Smiley over night :'(



Weather got a bit warmer



Then i sold the 15in Sony xplod, and had this Mutant 12in sub for about a week



Then the time came to start over.. Pics of the amp + sub removal



Sorting out the wiring at Just Ice



Heres my new baby - MTX Amp (current set up pics now)





Then came the Bad Boys. 2x 12in MTX Subs - Ported ;D 8-)



1cm of room either side of boot... only just fits lol ;D

With that, out came the old headunit..

In goes the New Alpine Headunit. CD, USB port, iPod lead connection and more...

Then like most people i no, i added in the FC air freshner -



Followed by these beauties ;D

im liking the MTX audio,, i was thinking of doing this, but i think i might go for rockford fosgate instead....

ive got the sony xplod atm,,, not a bad sub tbh

nice neat car, clean and tidy aswell!!!

liking the alloys, not too much but nice:P

Thankyou mate.. In my opinion MTX Audio is one of the best.. Ive heard lots of good things about RF too but im yet to hear a set up..

Ive spent way too much on sound.. Yea, im sure we'll meet down lakeside at some point matey. I wont be in this car next time i go down there though

and looking good, got some nice audio going on there

i parked in a trolley bay at asda and got kicked out of the carpark, and then did it at lakeside tesco, and me and steve got section 59 warnings

its all a bit of fun at the end of the day.. was awkward to get mine in that one though - it was smaller than i first thought.. turned out i only had an inch gap either side of the car once in lol

Added in some White Strobes which light up both subs and also some white lighting around the rear pillar Went out with the guys from CarPorn.co.uk and got this lovely shot of it - Also ive got myself a Drift Monkey now which you can see hanging down here

Was good to meet you the other night mate

Audio system looks and sounds the nuts aswell. Only place i've heard as good is at big car shows

Hopefully see you at some more meets & cruises in the future, especially as its getting closer to summer

Ill probably will more than likely see you at alot more places because i always hang about with Charlie now so.. I just need to get him to sit still for a minute so we can sort out another one for late April. Have you seen the images from the other night i put up on here yet?
